Pieces of drawing dissappear

When I opened my drawing this morinng, many of the layers/ classes do not show up in "savied views" and viewports as they are supposed to. I can turn on all layers and classes and all the information is still there, but when I get to view or viewport they dissapear even though the individual settings for the saved views and viewports show that the layers/ classes should be on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am hesistant to cut /paste evrything into new drawing b/c I think I lose alll my svaed views and sheet layers.

I have had this happen too.

It would be helpful if you could give more information. Are these drawings imported or converted from another version. What version are you using. What operating system. This will help others in helping you.

aquadapipa; Is the disappearing info only in viewports? Is the info intact on your design layers?

I am working in VW11 on OS X MAC. The file has been worken on both Mac abd PC platforms and some of the base information came from ACAD drawings.

The info does disaapears in viewports and also on design layers if I use the saved views palette.

The information is still in the drawings. I can turn on all layers/ classes and all info is there

this happens to me if switch from a sheet layer to design layer using the layer pulldown... i go back to the sheet layer and and the classes for the viewports have been turned off. i was freakin' out until i found out about the classes being turned off.

You should not be having this problem if you are using the latest version of 11, VW 11.5.1.
