Kristen
It's probably off by a factor of 6 -- you'll want to check this precisely before doing any scaling. But once you determine how much it's off by, you can select all and choose Tools > Scale Objects. Choose "Symmetric Scaling", and type in 1/6. Choose "Scale Text" and "Entire Drawing". Good luck -- hope this does the trick! Quote Link to comment
Steve DP
I imported a CAD drawing into an existing VW file and re-scaled the drawing to fit the existing VW file. When I went to take a measurement, what should have been 24' was now about measuring 150'. Is there a way to resize the entire drawing altogether but keep the size proportions that the layers have with eachother? Thanks very much in advance. Steve Quote Link to comment
Guest
Use the Scale menu under Tool. If the objects imported the wrong size - a 10' object came in as 100', the import was not done properly. Make sure the correct units are selected in the import dialog box. Quote Link to comment
Steve DP
Thanks Katie. I think I may have imported incorrectly & then spent several hours on this drawing, so I'm trying to avoid having to import it again. I'm was hoping maybe someone would have an idea how to salvage this one? Quote Link to comment
