Farookey Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 Hello there, Just wondering if I am going crazy or it is a VW2011 bug... When a room finish legend is created, there does not seem to be a category for 'FLOORS'. Is there a way to get it back, or do we have to wait for the next SP?! Also, I am NOW attempting to create a simple, but DYNAMIC Room Finish Legend via worksheet and criteria and 'SUM' (in the worksheet). This would be a database, as opposed to the default standard spreadsheet created via VW. Has this been done already? Is it worth doing? And does anyone think it may not work. I may post it here on completion... hopefully shortly... p.s. Latest Service Pack (SP3) installed. Thanks Quote Link to comment

The Ceiling, Base and Floor seems to be a breeze, and can easily be recalculated correctly each time a new/different finish is added or subtracted. The WALLS however, may prove a little tricky since there are 4 walls VW works with. How can I put/show the finish ONLY once as they may be present in multiple walls in one space? I somehow need to connect the 4 separate wall finishes together and only pull out the particular finish... Hope this makes sense... Any suggestions welcome... Quote Link to comment
Farookey Posted April 20, 2011 Author Share Posted April 20, 2011 EDIT... That's weird... When another legend was automatically created, SOME floor finishes are now showing. and by Some, I mean 2...
