Guest
How about specifics with the issue at hand ... How big is the VW file How many frames are you creating what is the error message how much ram do you have installed and any other related info. bruce arnold
Katie, thanks for responding. I haven't been on the tech board for quite awhile so congrats on the job promotion! The file is 11 MB. creating 930 frames "Vectorworks has suddenly quit?" OS: OS 10.4.9 Quicktime player: 7.1.5 iMac Machine Model: iMac6,1 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2.16 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB Memory: 2 GB Bus Speed: 667 MHz graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT Animation creation will run for 1 to 2 hours before crashing. I've set my energy saver preferences to 'no sleep'. Needless to say I don't sit around watching the screen for a couple of hours waiting for the process to complete. :-) A majority of the file was created some time ago on either VW 10 or 11. So we may have one of those 'don't ever work on an old file in a new version of VW' situations. regards, bruce Quote Link to comment
bruce arnold
Katie, One more thing. I am creating the animation in Renderworks in either in Final Quality Renderworks or Custom Renderworks with Auto-adjust exposure checked. thanks, bruce Quote Link to comment
