Sim Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 Has anyone noticed that V12 file takes significantly longer to save than equivalent V11 or is this just me? We're running VW12.0.1 on G5s with Mac OS 10.4.7 saving to a server also OS 10.4.7. An 11.9MB V12 file takes approx 25 secs (!) when exported back to V11 (becomes 11.7MB) and takes more like 8 secs. it's good to save regularly to avoid losing work, but these extended times slow us down too much. using both files from desktop is much quicker (difficult to tell if there's a difference between V11 & V12). somehow V12 seems to read across network differently. does anyone have any ideas or experiences of this. cheers Quote Link to comment
