Martin
Hi Folks. Well I've gone and upgraded to 10.1.2 Spotlight. While trying to define each position in my lighting grid, I have continuously lost control of ALL commands and have been forced to quit. It's not quite a freeze as much as it is a loss of input. I can pull down the menus but cannot select anything at all. (Even to quit -or- save) The program is not responding to keyboard commands either. Extremely annoying! Any tips? Guest
Did you hit the ESC key while in the OIP ? Quote Link to comment
Martin
That's very possible. It happened again today. Well actually, it's been happening alot since I upgraded. Why? Will that freeze all of the menu commands? ...and cause me to force quit? You've got me curious Quote Link to comment
Guest
The esc key function in the OIP is strange. If you hit it thinking it will take you back to the drawing, you may loose connection with the application files resulting in the problem you explain. The engineers are looking into this problem as a possible bug. Basically, until that's fixed - don't hit the esc key while in the oip. Use the mouse to click back into the applicaitond drawing window to change focus. Quote Link to comment
Martin
Thanks Katie, Whom should I contact if this problem persists outside of inadvertantly hitting the escape key, if that happens? Martin Quote Link to comment
