Panel Object Node not behaving as intended when converted to symbol

So firstly i am very new to marionette, I have made this tool to make a set panel. However I have made it from plan and then rotated the marionette object itself to give the desired upright rotation. This has been working great and after you rotate it once it keeps this roation. When I convert it to a plug-in object it reverts back to the plan orientation so the panel is lying down. I intend to share this with people so it being a symbol is crucial, unless there is another way.

 

Do I need to re-do the whole network to make it work or is there a work around?

I'm not aware of any workaround, and I'm struggling to get it to change in the script as well (I'm unfamiliar with this script, obviously, but have been testing by grouping all of the nodes that appear to output the handle to an object and using the Rotate 3D node. 

I'll keep looking into this in my free time, but it might be faster to just rewrite at this point.
