The workflow in our office requires that section & elevation cuts are first placed on a design layer for further 2d drawing before being included in a sheet layer viewport. While this workflow may not make sense to some, it is a deal-breaker for us.
Can we please have grids and elevation benchmarks show up automatically in design layer section viewports, as they are now able to do for sheet layer section viewports? Currently, we have to make grid symbols with a record field which can be manually updated, and which obviously do not update when the plan grids are moved. It takes far too much additional time to do this manually when the program already has the accurate information, and is simply refusing to display it.
