nickg
I am trying to install vectorworks 8.0 onto a windows 2000 os machine to access some old cad files. The program exits with a c++ runtime error when i try to open it. I havent entered the serial number anywhere and attempts to upgrade the installation to 8.01 8.5 etc all fail. Is there an incompatibility problem with w2k? Quote Link to comment
pctom
I am having the same problem with my win xp pro spk2 machine as nickg had "c++ runtime error" and program just quits shortly after displaying the error message. my son run's VW 8.0.1 on a win xp home PC with no problems. I am trying to run it on my PC at work simply so I can plot his drawings since he does not have access to a large format plotter. Could you reply or email me a suggestion to fix the problem? He occaisionally needs to have the large prints and I am the only one who he knows who is willing to run VW to help him out. Quote Link to comment
