AXVuser Posted August 27, 2003 Share Posted August 27, 2003 Hello there, I have this problem with the 8.5.2 version...on windows XP (on several machines) All of sudden, the soft runs in Demo mode and is not saving my job, even closing the application I have the dongles(several machines) and the right serials numbers... 0 Guest Posted August 28, 2003 Share Posted August 28, 2003 If you are going into demo mode while the program is running, that means the dongle has come out or the dongle is not being recognized. You may have a hard drive sleep setting. If you do, setting the hard drive to sleep may also cause the USB card to go to sleep also and it may not be able to awake properly - thus putting you in demo mode. In addition to hard drive sleep capabilities, some USB drives also have the sleep setting on them. You might want to look around in the control panel or something to see if you see an option like that. Quote Link to comment
