We have installed VW 10.1.2 on a G4 Mac running system 9.1 and no matter how much memory we allocate to VW, it chews it up until the machine crashes!?
Currently, we have allocated 72 Mb for the application. We can open a relatively large file (16 Mb) just fine but memory starts to disappear rapidly as we scroll around the screen ... to the point at which all 72 Mb are gone and the program crashes ... and this is without drawing a thing!?
This doesn't happen in any other applications running on this machine. VW works seemed to be working fine last week and now, not. We have used the same file on other machines running OS X with no problems. Is this a compatibility problem between using the same file in OS 9 and OS X?
So far, we've been recommended to upgrade to system 9.2. Has anyone else run into this before? Are there any other suggestions next to a system overhaul?
