There is a random gray grid showing up with in the viewports on the sheet layer. The grid is turned off and all classes and layers are turned on. Nothing will snap to it, but is does print. I haven't seen this before in previous drawings that i set up just like this one. How do i get rid of it?

I'm trying to print out some interior elevations to scale. I'm use to AutoCAD which has both a model space and paper space, but you create a window and print it to scale from both. Is there a quick way to print a particular area from the model layer in VW-Arch08 without having to create viewports and sheet layers? After spending the last 10yrs using AutoCAD, VectorWorks is like tring to learn chinese...i may be posting a lot... thanks

Disregard the previous post. I just discovered that i had the pen style set to none.

As a former semi-pro AutoCAD user, i've been running through John Pickup's Essential and Architecture tutorials. Until now things have looked as his books show. The segment i'm in is doors and windows. I've run through it step by step, but the neither the doors or the windows are showing up in any other views, only in plan. In the isometric view i can select the door and window so i know its placement is correct and i've check for overlapping walls. What is this novice missing?
