Hello!
My fader has started his own firm, and is using VWA2008. He has some serious problems.
He starts on a drawing, and everything seems OK. He allways saves and autosaves his files. Also making backup.
Two problems occur. After a while, the vwx-file is suddenly gone from the folder he created it. Totally gone.
The second problem comes if he wants to continue om a drawing he reasently made some changes on and saved. When he opens it after a while the last changes are gone. Its an old version!! The strange thing is that if he opens a file right after he has made changes to check if its OK, it is. But it goes back to an old version after days/weeks. Not a spesific pattern. Very strange.
Has anybody heard about this before? What can cause this? Can VW cause this?
He has a Synology Diskstation (NAS)that takes backup (synchronizes data) every day. Can this cause problems?
