Thom, thanks. With no previous knowledge of vw, do you think the landmark training manual would be sufficiant or is it neccesary to go through the essential tutorial manual for vw first?

Is there anybody who used the landmark learning series training CD? Is it worth buying it? It was offered to me alongside the vw landmark. What other training sources did you use to tame the software? Many thanks.

Well, my thinking behind chosing a laptop is to be able to take it to a client ocassionally. So, something big enough to work on it comfortably but still mobile. I am new to the business - that's becoming rather obvious I suppose.

MCH - thanks, the 9650 shouldn't be much different, so should be fine. Brudgers - yes, I am looking for a "desktop replacement" notebook.

Brudgers thanks for your reply. I tried tech support first, but they said they couldn't suggest specific card other than previously tested (http://kbase.nemetschek.net/index.php?ToDo=view&questId=122&catId=23).

Please does anybody have an experience with NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GS graphics card? I am chosing a new notebook and an acer with this graphics card is on the top of the list. I would like to use it to run Vectorworks Landmark. Many thanks.
