Peter, I have always created PDF files from within the VW program and never had any issues. I have never created PDF's using the Mac OS? I will look into this but not really sure of procedures. Thanks again Peter!

I have just updated revisions and sent a PDF file for printing. I have been informed that the reproduction company is unable to print due to very poor quality? I have not changed any setting from precious submissions and have repeated the process 3 times. What would cause this? I have made PDF copies from this file prior to this experience several times with no issues. Is there a solution? What should I be looking for? I need to provide contractors with up to date revised copies? Thanks.

I have taken a screen shot of the existing site model. I want to change grades for landscape area as well as patio structure. I am having difficulty with modifying the site. I am also getting unrealistic cut and fill information. Thanks again for your help.

I have just created a site model for a new project. When I go to modify the site using the grader, or try to create pads the system freezes. Is there new processes in place on 2011 for modifying a site? Thanks

I upgraded to VW2011. I am unable to access my notes from Notes Manager used in projects from earlier versions. How do I access notes? Do I have to reinvent the wheel and create new notes every time I install a new version? Thanks

Jeffery, I am trying to read the database file from the local hard drive from previous project documents I have created and used. I believe the User/Vectorworks file. Again, notes?document I have created for various projects. Thank you Jeffery for your time and help.

I have completed a landscape plan and want to included notes using callout tool and general notes tool as saved from previous projects. When I open the appropriate file I get an error message "cannot open data base for reading", "abort or retry"? Any suggestions? Thanks

I have imported a dwg file from an architect and need to design a softscape. When I use the plant tool the graphic is to the correct scale but the tag is huge and not the correct scale? How do adjust the tag to the correct scale? Thanks

Benson, I hope that the file iis attached. When I look at the column in wireframe it appears to have the details. I have several components. The lower column section has a volume added detail. The upper component has volumes subtracted. When I look at the column in wireframe it appears correct. However, when I rednder in GL the volume subtracted is not evident on all faces, and several of the sides are depicted as just a flat surface. I hope that this is apparent. My initail question regarding replicating was in response to the inability to depict the dame detail on each face. I was wondering if once a detail is created on a particular face, if it is possible to simply copy the detail and replicate on appropriate faces of an object without duplicating the process? Thanks for your time and help!

I am cereating a 3D model of a column for a landscape design. I have created an object and want to replicate the face on all four sides of the object. Is there any method of replicating a face wtihout going through the process of adding/subtracting volumes,changing textures etc in order to have all surface faces the same? Thanks

I am developing an object with different faces. As I develope the object I need to change views Ie. front to back etc. Can I maintain the object in one place on the page as I change views without having to scoll and find the object? Thanks
