Peter, check with your local library to see if they offer access. My county doesn't but the next town over does so I went and purchased an out of town card for $65. Now I have access for a year.

Does anyone have hands on with this product and integrating it with VW? I've just started exploring it online and am still learning details. It exports in obj format and after converting to dxf, you end up with a skinned mesh which doesn't really appear to be useful in VW. Will the new modeling features in '16 make this a more viable product to integrate into a VW workflow?

If you change values in the OIP nothing will happen.

... isn't updating the wattages for me. No matter what I put in the field on the OIP for the fixture, the IS always reports 575w.

May be tied into this same issue... this morning, I'm using a light with a custom gobo and when I change brightness of the light I get a crash.
Edit:
I just crashed changing brightness on a basic spotlight in the same file. :cry:

Is it possible to move the stacking order of the text separate from the video objects? In other words, if I have a screen and projector flown under truss, the text populates under the truss and is partially obscured.

The AutoPlot Chain Hoist plug-in has this ability, including being able to add weight records to objects/symbols.

Ok, I thought that the Typical was supposed to populate from the Label Legend but it doesn't seem to be working for me. Is there possibly something I'm missing in setting up the label legend?

Would someone be willing to explain how the Typical is supposed to populate.
I've watched the tutorial posted on the I.S. tool but the typical wasn't covered.

2016 Random Crashing

After updating to SP2 two days ago, I'm experiencing a crash about every 10-15 minutes. Editing a workspace is a guaranteed crash. I just crashed using the attribute tool to scale a texture. Sometimes clicking on a toolset icon doesn't refresh the list of tools pertaining to the newly selected toolset. Clicking onto another toolset and back again to the desired selection causes a crash.
What should have taken me 1/2 a day to finish the drawing I'm currently working on is now proceeding into day 2.
