Thanks, I'll work with that and see if it helps. I'm using a PC, Intel 3.0 chip, XP w/ SP2, 2 GB RAM, an Open GL vidio card with 256MB and I run 12 x 18 check prints on a Epson Stulus Photo 1280.

The objects are imbeded in the walls. I am trying to grab the whole floor plan and drag it to a new location. The problem seems to be related to the conversion to VW12. I just started VW11 and opened a v11 drawing. I can grab and drag complete floor plans. When that v11 floor plan is converted and opened in VW12 I can no longer grab it and some of the contained objects. Are there settings for the V11 to V12 conversion operation that would effect this or are some of the defaults in V12 different from V11? niel

I have a newly created floor plan with doors, windows plumbing fixtures and appliacnces. I cannot drag this drawing to a new location. When I try and highlight all of the drawing VW will not grab the doors and windows. I cannot add them by holding down the shift key and clicking on them individualy. Is there a setting for the objects, the layers or the sheet itself that woudl cause this?

I can no longer drag walls or other objects when in the Top/Plan view. Switching to the Top view restores this function. Are there settings for functions that are allowed in each view, and if so how do I regain my original settings?
