  1. That sort of hint is legible. Try the measuring tape tool. It is grey.
  2. Maybe Vectorworks can change the colour of the hint to black from fog grey.....
  3. I use a MacPro but only a regular (cheap) mouse. No matter how much I zoom in, the text stays the same size. And is displayed as a blah grey colour.
  4. I am getting old. That is a fact not the question. The problem, which you will one day become aware of, is that the text in the hints, like the tape measure tool, in Vectorworks are small and grey. That makes it hard for us geezers to see and recognize an 8 from a 6. Which is irritating and old people don’t like to be irritated. So, the question is: how can I make the hints easier to see? Can I change the size or colour of them? Buy a cheap magnifying glass? Sit closer to the screen? Can you suggest a solution for me please?
  5. Thank you for your response. It was better than "Buy Vectorworks 2008". Do you mean "Fill" or "Hatch" or either one?
  6. The intro to 2008 suggests that if we select a specific wall style, it will retain the components and display them in building and wall sections. "The Ability to Show Wall Components in Section Views Walls can now display their components in section views. And, because components are classed you can easily adjust their visibility depending on how detailed you want your section views to appear." How can I achieve this wonderful breakthrough?
