As monitors get larger, and screen resolutions tighter, the floating data bar is almost impossible to read. What makes it even more difficult is its translucence and the fact that the text is not solid black. Vectorworks 2010's ability to customize the cue text's size, color and background make it much easier to read and use. Please add the ability to be able to do the same customization on the floating data bar. When speaking with other VectorWorks users this is a common complaint.

I recently upgraded to version 12.5 from 11.5. As I use the program it gets slower and slower with each use. It now can take 10 seconds to redraw a page of elevations that would show up immediately (no draw time) in 11.5. I am using a Mac. I reinstalled a fresh system software and that helped the problem for a while. I have tried reinstalling, deleting preference files, etc. but with no help. Today I am getting a situation where the entire page is not completely redrawn. Areas seem to be missing until I zoom in and find that they are there. I am not having any problems with any of my other applications. 11.5 is still snappy as usual. I feel like I'm back using MiniCAD 6 again. Help.
