all of the lines are on the same layer and that layer is active. I'm usually trying trim a section of a line intersecting two parallel lines.

I'm trying to trim intersecting lines.

I have been having problems with the trim tools. There are drawings where the trim tool works fine, yet in other drawings it doesn't seem work at all. I'm assuming it is a setting specific to the drawing but have not been unable to find any setting that impacts the functioning of the trim tool. Has anyone had this problem and if so were you able to remendy it.
