It would be great if roofs could have components like walls. That would also go for dormers. I am working on a home with 4" rigid insulation on exterior. Putting in a roof thickness and hoping that the bearing height is correctly calculated is dicey at best. It would also be great to be able to spec walls and roof of dormers. It would also be great in dormer windows could show up on floor plans without the roof layer visible. Cheers!

I am working on a gable roof which has two separate pitches. The only way I have been able to make this work is to add two roof faces to the facia of the roof object. I need to put dormers in the roof faces which is a royal pain. It would be nice to have a multiple pitch roof object or the ability to combine a roof face with a roof object. Think pagoda!

Since upgrading to 12.5 I have had the vexing problem of losing elements when I zoom out with keyboard (Ctrl+2) When I zoom back in with zoom tool everything reappears. This is really frustrating particularly when working in close and needing to back out a bit. I usually back out more than necessary then zoom back in with the tool. Anyone else had this problem?

I am inserting a window in a first floor wall that extends into the wall(layer) above. Is there a way to get the window to break the upper wall without cutting a hole in it?
