Can I discover the absolute angular orientation of a 3D object (say, a cylinder) in terms of the polar and azimuthal angles relative to the absolute coordinate system?
Also, can I define body-centric angles -- for exampe, a roll angle on my rotated cylinder, so that I rotate the cylinder about its axis of symmetry, while maintaining its polar and azimulthal orientation?
