  1. When inserting a speaker in spotlight, there are a variety of default mounting options. It would be nice to include a round base speaker stand option as well as the standard tripod stand.
  2. Hi, It's currently impossible to put a load directly on to a hoist. You can only attach a load to a truss object and then a hoist also to the truss object. It would be useful to be able to snap loads directly to hoists in order to accurately simulate things like PA loads and other small objects that might be attached directly to a hoist.
  3. I can get motors to snap to trusses and house rigging points. I can't get them to snap to point loads. Will I need to add a bridle object or something in between?
  4. Is there a way to attach a load directly to a motor without a truss object in the way?
  5. I don't seem to be able to install the soundvision export plugin from the partner integrations for VW2025, is there an ETA/workaround for this?
  6. Offsetting the hoist symbol unfortunately wouldn't offset the symbol positions used in reporting or shown on the co-ordinates. Also, the offset would very much depend on what it was attached to.
  7. That's correct, I'd like the braceworks snapping loci to be customisable rather than just a centreline on a braceworks object. Just to be clear, this behaviour isn't restricted to trusses, it's the same with all liftable objects. Or atleast to have the option to modify it from a centreline to ensure that hoist positions are accurate. At the moment, I'm using hoist symbols instead of the hoist PIO (and losing all of the associated braceworks functionality) to ensure that the hoists end up in the correct positions.
  8. I'd like to change the position/shape of the connection with respect to the 2d/3d model. For example, putting an offset basket on a truss, or picking up the front point of a frame.
  9. When adding hoists to a rigging system, the hoists snap to red hoist connection points or loci. Is there any way to modify this in a symbol?
  10. Unfortunately it does not, even with snapping disabled and it set to multiple hoists, it still only snaps to an existing red set of loci (which I think corresponds to the generic bumper catalog item). Is there anyway to modify these loci?
  11. Hi, I'm currently using the speaker array plug-in object to do rigging plots, however, when adding hoists they snap to a seemingly unrelated line or set of lines rather than where I would expect them to attach. For example, In the image below I would expect it to snap to the most downstage rigging guide, but it instead goes to the bottom of the red line. Can I edit this set of lines, and if so, how do I do it? Please feel free to point me towards the right bit of the manual! Thanks
