thanks for the help but i already figured it out late last night, it was one of the four foliage classes, not sure which one.

I use Vectorworks 10, when i insert deciduous trees into a drawing, and try to render it, nuthin shows up so i look in the classes menu and see that the trees are invisible so i make them visible. When i do this, new coniferous trees are added and the deciduous trees become just stumps/trunks. Can anyone help me?
