I would love to know the workaround and "next update", does that means VW 13 or VW 12.x?

When I render in VW Spotlight 12 + Renderworks with the instruments "turned on" everything is too bright. How do I control the levels / intensities of the lights as a whole and individual instruments? How do I add a shutter to a ellipsoidal spotlight? Barn doors on a fresnel?

I paid $153 for the upgrade from the previous version (including all the VW Apps) to Designer

I'm trying to build a raked stage for my VW file but I can't figure out how to rotate a hybrid object. I want the top part of this set of platforms to be 1.43' higher then the bottom part. meaning that the whole mess of 3' x 8' platforms will be raked. Where do I find "Overhead door 2" ? All I see in the resources browser w/ favorites file "08_Drs_Overhead" selected are doors that have numbers like 100100 and 10066, plus all of them have 2 vertical bars instead of just horizontal. I have no idea how to find 3rd party components for VW, much less the one I need. A 10' x 12' Roll-Up Door. I am willing to pay for the components. Where do you get your components? I guess im confused. I'm used to photoshop and sketchup. In the file I'm working on now, I have a layer for the stage, senic elemnts, lights, and text, and dimensions. When I extrude and try to fly over in 3d, the current layer goes to 3d, but the others stay in 2d. I'm using classes a lot like CSS for websites, but I think I saw a option to hide them, or gray them. I use layers to hide stuff. What are the general rules with layers and classes?
