The role of the Design Engineer is an integral position within the team. This role will work within various software products to assemble a design document that communicates the design intent and design detail for all stages of the project life cycle. Including the needed infrastructure to support the new or future systems. This also includes modeling of various systems within the proper software. This can range from Speaker Systems to LED Walls and House Lights, as well as various calculations of electrical/heat loads, rigging weights and assembly. This information will need to be translated into the project drawings for communication with other trades. Various models and other input may be required for Design For Sale processes. The Design Engineer is also responsible for a working system design and functional drawings as needed to ensure a fully working system which meets the customer's needs. The Design Engineer will work with a project team that specifies the equipment list, placement, specs etc Experience Required: 3-5 years of Design level experience Key Software: Vectorworks D-Tools SketchUp Excel AutoCAD and Revit experience are a plus
