    @line-weight interesting! my drawings are all in 2D, so it only draws 2D geometry. Would 3D geometry be faster than 2D, i cant imagine!?

    @Elite Exhibits I've done something like that in the past as well, however, our floorplans are subject to change even in the late stages of the project, so therefore it is nice if it updates with our changes.

    Hi all, In our projects, we like to put a little 1:500 floorplan in the top right of a sheet page to show where the subject of that drawing is situated in the larger space. However, doing this slows down the sheet pages tremendously while caching graphics, because it has to render all these floorplans with so much information. I was wondering if there is a way to have an updated floorplan on every sheet layer without slowing the drawing down. It can of course be a simplified version of it, it is just to show the general location. Thanks!

    @line-weight I think it depends on the situation, I think in my case selecting the extrudes is a bit more work then doing the slicing operation.

    @Benson Shaw thank you! that is indeed the situation I'm in. I attached a screenshot of my situation. The wireframe volume should be substracted from the panels. Your method works indeed, so that's how I'm doing it now. However, as mentioned, it is a very tedious process, which to me seems like it could be easily reduced to a single functionality in the program.

    Hi, I have 120 individual extrudes that I want to subtract a shape from. However, all the options I see result in a grouped instance of all the extrudes. I need them separate to put them on sheet and for the CNC cutter. Last topic about this was 2014 so I hoped there has been some development that I overlooked! Thanks, Serge
