  1. Alright, now you can see my weak specs. Anything for non-2009 users?
  2. Say you have a 3D shape of some sort. Think of its 2D surface area. Is there a way that you can determine the size/pattern of a flat sheet that would be necessary to "form" this 3D shape's surface? For example, if you have a 3D cube, you can imagine it being made up of a flat "+" shape that is then folded up to form the surface area of the cube (plus an extra square for the "top"). Is there a possible tool to figure out this in Vectorworks for more complicated 3D objects? Thanks in advance for any help, Mike
  3. System: Mac OS X 10.4.3 on Titanium PBG4 1.5 GHz 1 GB DDR SDRAM, VW Fundamentals 12.0.0(49891) Certain functions have stopped working (I believe with the latest Mac OS system update) when I was using VW11.5.1. I was hoping the 12 upgrade would fix the problem, but it hasn't. The problems include: Holding the space bar to pan. The arrow switches to a hand, but immediately switches back, and I cannot drag to pan. Holding the shift key to multiple-select. It simply does not work...the original object is deselected and the new one is selected. Holding the option (alt) key to select all that the selection box touches. The selection box only selects those objects that fall completely inside of it (as if I was not holding option). There may be more that I have not found. I contacted VW tech support about this before, and they said it was a Mac OS problem. I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem, and, if so, have they found any solutions? Or if anybody has suggestions for solutions? Thanks in advance.
