Hi @MarcusBIMBOT, which project from the examples are you trying to build?

The depot is setup so you take the entire thing, and open the appropriate solution file for the version you want to use.

    Hi thanks for the reply!

Firstly fyi I am using VS 2022 with VS 2017 build tools.

I'm trying to build the TesterModule solution (2023).

When building debug version i get 'LINK1104 cannot open file 'VWSDK.lib'.

Upon inspection of the repo I can only see Release version.

When I build the release version I get this error

The command "REM VWR Resource build script"

After some tweaking i was able to build the release version

but VW would not load the plug in.

Any advice would be appreciated...very keen to get the debug build going!

@Myke here you can find a self contained example, that is completely setup, and you can just compile and debug without any setup:

    https://github.com/VectorworksDeveloper/SDKExamples

It has win and mac projects, that you can use as a base for your work. Just make sure you change all UUIDs.

Hi there, I just grabbed this project (2023 version) from github and can't get it to build.  I'm having trouble with vwsdk.dll debug version...it appears to me that it's not included in the package?

  3. Hi all, I'm trying to write a window PIO that attaches itself to a wall and then cut through it.  But I'm having a devil of a time working that out.

So a third party window activates this menu..

and when inserting the pio it highlights the wall you are about toinsert it into.

Can someone point me in the direction of how to do the same?
