MLA is seeking an experienced Junior Architect with strong visualization abilities who is interested in working on residential projects as part of our Westchester team. The successful candidate will be fully committed to developing work of the highest quality in a self-motivated but collaborative manner. This role will be primarily focused around: Working with and reporting to Project Lead / Senior Architect Developing comprehensive drawing sets from concept through construction documents utilizing Vectorworks Design work addressing an increasing range of scale and concerns commensurate with the ability Producing refined 3D models, visualizations, and renderings, starting with Vectorworks CAD, for design work and presentations Project management tasks including client, contractor, and consultant interaction, as well as correspondence, on-site representation, and regulatory processing Qualifications: A college degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience in an architecture or design firm Proficiency with a minimum of 2 years experience using Vectorworks, including design & construction drawings, and 3D modeling & rendering Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong organizational abilities. Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Suite, Sketch-up, and Google Suite.
