Thank you very much. How can I avoid making my groups class None, and have them be the same class as the rest of my objects? (Also, the center mark tool made center lines with class None).

In Vectorworks 9.0.1, I select several objects and group them, and then I can't select the group. Even if I do a "Select All" and delete, only the grouped objects remain. Why is this? How can I select the group?

Is there a way to select objects by drawing a Marquee box, without moving any objects? The first mouse click for drawing the box is within the fill pattern of several other objects, and these objects always move when I try to drag-draw the Marquee box.
