  1. Looks like the bug was fixed with update 4 today. Thank you very much for your assistance!
  2. Thank you very much for the help! I will be waiting for the next software update.
  3. Sorry for the confusion. I meant that the beam of light traveling through the air coming from the custom spot light source placed in the 3D model is not changing color as expected. Workflow shown in this Vectorworks University video (37 minutes in). I am not using the actual light source in that comes with the lighting symbol. In this file, the viewport R1 and R1 Test has set classes Lighting-Source-MH7 to burgunder but it renders as blue and Lighting-Source-PXL is set to blue but renders as orange. 4. Hi I am trying to render a scene using custom lighting symbols and have the color of the output react to the viewport class color set. I have created some custom fixtures and have a lens in one separate class and the light source in another. When i change the color of the viewport classes to be different than the classes of the main file, only the lens class actually changes color in the render, and not the light sources. The sources are the same color as the main class color, and not the viewport class color. I have the light source in the 3D model set as style solid fill and color to class style. The lens has a texture with color set to "object attribute". Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be changed in order for the viewport class to set the of the light source? Or is there another problem?
  5. Thank you for the reply! I have started customising the cable connector XML. I noticed the XLR cables doesn't have any pin description. Should this be added in the new hybrid cable connector? And should it be made compatible with both a True1 connector and a DMX 5p XLR connector?
  6. I am trying to use the cable planning toolset to draw cables between fixtures. As we mostly use hybrid cables with True1 AND DMX in one cable, I would like to be able to draw this in Vectorworks. Is it possible to create a cable part with both a DMX and True1 connection at each end, but combined in one single cable? And how would I go about doing it in Vectorworks?
  7. Is it possible to connect a PC with Grandma2 onPC to a Mac with Vision and dongle? The two computers would be connected over and ethernet cable.
