  1. Update: 3 SOLVED. Updated customise truss symbol data to include corner truss properties. Thanks everyone for your help haha.
  2. Update: 1 I edited symbol data of the library truss plugin to check what should be in the connects with field, and updated my custom truss accordingly. However the custom truss still refuses to be a part of a rigging system. Update: 2 Although the command "select System Objects doesn't work, if i select my section of custom truss and then set the system trim height, my custom section of truss and the non custom section both move to the trim height that I input. This means that the custom truss appears to both be a legit truss object, and yet not quite.
  3. I recently created a section of custom truss following the user guides. The geometry is taken from the manufactures own cad block, edited to create the 0.8m long section I need, then converted into a symbol and set the correct insertion/origin and added the truss record by editing the symbol, then updated the cross section info. When I insert the truss into the system I am building, I get the red guild lines indicating that the custom truss section will be connected to the system and then click to insert. The issue is that when i do this, then select any other part of the system and click "Select System Objects", my custom truss is not selected and therefor not being added to the system. I think this might have something to do with the symbol data field "connectable with", but I can find no examples or demonstrations on what is supposed to go in this field other than that it specifies the type of cross section that the truss can connect to and can have multiple entries separated by commas. The fact that I get the red line indicating that the custom truss is being snapped to the library truss tells me I'm close, but i cant figure this out. Any suggestions?
