  1. One of my older large files has unnamed folders, as well as named folders in my resources brower which I cannot delete. They appear in different ways. If I look at Top Level of the Resource Browser and hold down the mouse, what is shown below are 3 folders with no name, then 2 folders (named) with nothing in them. I would like to delete these, but when selected, there is no delete button. Also, If I look within the window of the browser viewed as thumbnails, within a desired folder, I have an unnamed invisible folder to the left of a named and visible folder. If I click at the location of the unnamed visible folder, it highlights as if it were a folder. I also cannot delete this. Any ideas anyone. Thanks, Scott
  2. Thanks for your response. I assume it worked in another release. In the meantime, I have created my own electrical symbols. Regards, Scott
  3. Either of these two methods do not work for me. I had tried both before posting. Setting the size of text prior to creating the electrical symbol does not change the size of the text for the symbol, which is always created at 12 point, while any regular text I create is always at the size chosen. When I increase the 2D scale factor on an electrical switch, the text stays the same size and only the line becomes longer. I use Vectorworks 11.0.1 Why would it not work properly? Thanks, Scott
  4. When I use the electrical symbol plug-ins that use text within the plug-in, such as all the switches, I cannot modify the size of the text, either by selecting the size of text I want under the text menu, or by changing the 2D scale factor in the Object Info palette. The switch plug-in does use the font which I have selected under the text menu. Also, the size of the lines will enlarge when I change the 2D scale factor. The size of text which the plug-ins use is 12 point. Usually, I would not want large electrical symbols, but in my current project I do. Any ideas? Thanks, Scott
  5. I think you are right, somehow the entire group became an invisible group while I was within the group making modifications, and therefore when I exited the group, it disappeared. How this happened is still a mystery. In the file I went back to before I posted, I ended up ungrouping the group prior to making any changes, and then I did not continue to have the group disappearing. Thanks
  6. The first time the entire group disappeared was after I had modified a few objects within the group, and upon exiting the group, it totally disappeared. Gone forever. I did undos and repeated exiting the group. Everytime it disappeard. So thinking that perhaps something was corrupted, I went back to an earlier saved version and started again making changes. Later, with nothing selected, when I changed the class listed in the data display bar at the top of the screen, the entire group again disappearred. The group was not selected. The class which I changed to was set to visible. Neither of these events make any sense to me. Anybody with ideas? I don't want this to keep happening, and I don't want to lose my data.
