I've brought in various group form a working drawing, but not able to snap to even though they are Layer Plane. I've been training on software for a while, thought I had a grasp and now completely lost in what I'm doing. Attached is file and would be grateful for any insight you have time for. Hi I've started a drawing working in 2D only. I realized that a portion of the plan is in 3D - forgot to select 2D only. Is there a method to convert or flatten a working drawing to 2D only? Thanks

But at the same time why is title block showing on Construction and Cover Sheet without issue and not on Demo even though it is activated? And, again, when I double click 24x36 Title Block in Design Layer the Demo shows as it should but demo plan disappears? Thanks

Hi Pat, Thanks for answering so quickly. Lead guy who has been training me set up the templates many moons ago. I come from SketchUP background and always thought something wasn't right. I've been working with his template without issue until this. He mentioned I might need to access 'Unfied View' to fix, but I don't see this option in my version. Thanks

Hello wondering if someone could help. Been using Vworks for about 7 months, but occasionally get stuck in some quagmire... Having a problem with title block showing on my DEMO sheet. Will try my best to describe in simple terms: CLASS: I have title block on Class as 'TB General' DESIGN LAYER: I have title block on '24x36 Title Block' ISSUE: Title block shows on my - COVER SHEET, CONSTRUCTION SHEET AND NOTES SHEET as normal ISSUE: Title block does not show on DEMO even though 'TB General' is turned on in Class 'TB General' But........ISSUE: When on DEMO and I activiate 24x36 title block in Design Layer the Demo title block appears, but DEMO Plan disappears. I hope this is a clear description of issue. Being going around and around trying to solve for too long today. Could someone help out? Hi Issue solved. I contacted tech support. We closed Vectorworks, went to Finder on Mac -- Go Menu -- Option click on Applications -- Changed name of Vectorworks folder to 2023 instead of 2022 -- reopened Vectorworks -- problem solved. Thanks!

Yes, in my second screen capture the Classes tab is shown, but as I said when I click on it nothing activates, nothing happens. Yes, I understand that I have to select Classes tab to view classes, but again I can't activate it - nothing happens when I select it. Some tech glitch is happening. No, not that flyout, the one that is accessible just on the upper right of the Navigation palette - left-hand side of question mark ? on the palette. But to answer your question, yes it is show as being checked as shown here. Also if you look at my FIRST screen capture above you will see a blank space between the other tab icons. In order to see the Classes tab I have to shuffle these around until it appears (screen shot TWO), but then when trying to select it I can't with pointer. Nothing happens. I don't know what is going on. Maybe I need to call tech support or delete and re-download program?? Thanks!

Hello Wondering if someone can help? I'm a new using 2022 Landmark. I updated from Fundamentals to make use of floating pallets. Activating the Classes Tab in the Navigation Pallette isn't working for me or I'm missing something. In screen shot 1 Classes Tab does not even show even though it is checked on the fly out list. I had to shuffle around the Tabs that DO activate to be able to see the Classes Tab. Now, with the Classes Tab showing, when I click on it nothing happens, no activation happens. Would anyone have any thoughts on this? I've shut down, restarted, tested by opening different files the office is working on....still can't activate it. Thanks Daniel

Hello I'm a very new user. Is there a method to add title block to all sheets? I'm working VW Fundamentals I did search and 'Duplicate to Layer' was suggested. I don't see this option on Fundamentals. I've tried copy, paste in place the existing title block form cover sheet to other sheets. It comes in double the size for some reason and doesn't paste to place where existing block is on cover sheet. Thanks

Hello My first post! Following the Landmark Essentials Seminar on the University site. Having trouble with the pool install: 1) After copying the pool and pasting it pastes ANOTHER pool, rather than the general shape as described in video. 2) I double clicked on this second pool to edit and then delete pool graphic to get general shape. 3) I then shift-clicked both shapes and select CLIP SURFACE and I get ILLEGAL OBJECTS SELECTED. I have followed the video many, many times to review and to try and fix and it still gives this error. Would anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
