  1. Peter and Propstuff, Thank you for all the help. Tom
  2. Peter, Thanks for the response. I'm used to the AutoCAD way of selecting the "center" constraint and then clicking on the circle of which you want the center. Is there any way to do it in this fashion? Are there any plug-ins that anyone is aware of that can do this? Thanks, Tom
  3. Hello, My 2D drawings tend to be congested with lines in the area of the center of circles. Consequently, the SmartPointer has a hard time finding the center of the circle. Is there an easy way to locate the center of the circle in this situation? Tom
  4. Hello, I have another question from my switch from Autocad LT to Vectorworks 9.5. Autocad LT has a copy command that allows you to copy (duplicate) objects and position them in relation to two other points (such as relative to a near by line's end points). Is this possible in Vectorworks? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Tom
  5. Nicholas, Thanks for responding. The "quadrants" show for complete circles (360 degrees). However, they do not show on portions of a circle (arc). For example, is there a way to find the bottom of an arc? How do I draw a horizontal line tangent to the bottom of an arc? Tom
  6. Hello, I am currently in the process of switching from Autocad LT to Vectorworks 9.5. In Autocad I use the "Quadrant" snap. It allows me to snap to the points on the axis of the center of the arc or circle (the 3, 6, 9, and 12:00 positions on a clock). How can this be done in Vectorworks? Any insight will be appreciated. Thank you. Tom
