I have a student account for vectorworks. I am able to sign into my vectorworks student account on a web browser using my email address and a password, however I am not able to sign into vectorworks on the desktop app. When I try to sign into the app, I am prompted to sign in with a username, but I cant seem to figure out what this would be. I tried to sign in using my email instead, but it didn't work either. This means that I can't export any documents in any format. I have just been printing to PDF until now, but this doesn't allow me to get the best quality drawing. I'm assuming this is because my vectorworks app isnt signed in? Does anyone know how to resolve this please? 🙂

When drawing in 2D, the appearance of lineweights on vectorworks all look the same, unless its 0.35mm+. So if I have drawn a line with a lineweight of 0.25, it still appears to look like a 0.05 line. Once made into a PDF, the lineweights show correctly. It just doesn't show correctly when looking at the drawing on vectorworks. Is there a way to fix this?

Could anyone let me know how to make a 3D model (just consisting of simple extruded walls, roof, floor and windows) turn into a perspective view, so I can use it to make a collage? As of now, I can only view it in axo/plan/elevation. I'm quite new to 3D on vectorworks so please let me know if this is possible (or not) and how to do it, thank you in advance!
