  1. I don't know how to turn them off either, but they do dissapear if you export 'current view' to an image file. At least on 10.5

  2. I'd like to see a 'place multiple plants at mouse clicks' feature (nice when placing trees ranomly), and a feature in 'Duplicate' that lets you insert the copied item at a point determined by the mouse click. Also a feature that llets you place multiple duplicates of an object at mouse clicks would be nice.

Any idea why those grey boxes are showing up where the image props overlap? (v. 10.5) It seems to be only where the the same prop overlaps itself, otherwise everything would be grey because of the tree prop.

It looks like it's only showing up in elevation and perspective views, I haven't had any problems with it in isometric yet.

    Thanks!

  4. I don't think I changed any settings that would cause this to happen, but on an existing file I made, when I go to place a plant, on the 'pick a plant' window all I'm seeing is a bunch of dots in the general shape of the symbols they should look like. When I go to the edit plant catalog feature, they're only showing the light green portion(and a few dark green lines on a couple of symbols), but not any of the black lines.

When I opened a new file, the symbols weren't showing up at all on the 'pick a plant' window, but when I go into edit there, the symbols are just fine.

Also, is there any way to make deciduous trees 'see-through' so I can see the plant material under them?

    Thanks!

  5. Found it- thanks!

I'm still wondering about how to select an area to print- on the print popup, you can select the print range of all, pages x-y, current view, or selection. And 'selection' is in grey, where you can't select that option. How do I actrivate that?

    Thanks!

  6. I just got in v. 10.5 and imported an existing (2D)autocad lt file. I've looked through the user guide, but can't find a way to specify what part of a drawing is printed. Right now the print boundary box is sitting over a useless portion of the file. Is there a way to 'move' the print boundary box to the area I need it?

Also, sometimes I like to just select an area, and tell autocad to scale it to fit the page I'm printing on. Is there any way to do this on Vectorworks?
