So I got inspired by you. Graphic legend without count and extra worksheet. Thank you.

Yes, I'm working on an answer.

Helo,
I did recently as follows:
I created a show rig setup in Spotlight. Just fixtures in correct positions, some truss and flybars. Then I exported MVR to my GrandMA3 showfile and merged it into my file. Then I did the patch inside MA3 software, assigned correct GDTF libraries, adjusted Layering and Classing a bit and exported MVR from GMA3. I imported this adjusted MVR file into original *.vwx file. I hoped for updating information in already existing set-up, so already present fixtures get patch information, etc., but there just appeared new set of fixtures upon original ones, they all fell into one layer ignoring sorting made inside GMA and they do not have correct geometry. Is there some major wrongdoing on my side?
Thanks.

Thank you. I'll dig into it.

Yeah, sure. Excuse my language skills. One picture better than a hundred words. I want my equipment tell me count of fixtures in this viewport only. Counts we see sumarize all the layers. This is Sheet layer 2 in my file. I hope it makes sense now.
Thank you, Scott.

Helo.
I would like my equipment list to referr to a viewport which is filtered by a layer. Equipment list unfortunately shows total number of fixtures instead of an amount which populates one specific viewport. Filter in Equipment Summary List does the job for a viewport but not for Equipment list. What am I missing?
Thank you.

Same here

Thank you. It almost does the job. The only thing left is Label legend of fixtures filtered off. What criteria to get rid of Label legend?
I can achieve this by temporarily moving hanging position and fixtures into "off viewport" design layer and make it invisible in a viewport settings. But I believe Data Visualisation is less destructive and more efficient way to do this task once I get used to it.

Allright.
On the attached PDF - hanging position with the yellow background is the one I need to get rid off on this sheet. vwx file also attached.
thanks

Oooh, it's a great tool!
But I'm not sure if it can do what I need. It means there will be no hanging position X on riggers' drawing and also X-assigned lighting devices won't appear in viewport's statistics (device count etc.)
-
Thanks. I will dig into this area.
Just to explain myself better, here is the obvious usecase:
Rig contains a few flybars of the same class and layer, populated with lighting devices of its own class and layer. I need to exclude some flybars and connected lighting devices from a viewport, because riggers are not interested in all flybars.

Hi,
is it possible to exclude certain hanging position with its devices from certain viewport without creating special "hidden" class for it?
thanks

Hello,
I would like to pick a custom point on a hanging position and then place lighting fixtures relatively to this point. - 1m / custom center point / +1m on its x-axis for example.
It might be obvious, but I can't see a solution and it would be very helpful.
Thanks

Hello,
I'm still a beginner and I'm struggling with migrating of project and sheet data from one spotlight project to another. I've already created a report containing project and sheet data, exported into a *.xlsx file. I need to do some magic with those exported data so my second project absorbs its information and my Title block is filled with all the information I've created in previous project.
Thank you.

Actually there is a hope via this topic found in online manual
Now I just need to force exported patch into format Spotlight can read

Hello,
is there a way to import a patch from existing showfile into Spotlight? Talking about GrandMA2, but I think this is general question.
thanks

Helo.
Anyone running Vision on Macbook M3? I'm considering how much RAM do I actually need. 36 and 42 GB of RAM. My project will contain about 60 movers and similar amount of Lekos. I would like to hear about actual real life performance
Thanks.
