  1. I am floored by the convos that have stirred here. Guys, thank you for all the tips and thought processes you guys have brought to the table. I honestly paused on this file as I had other projects that needed attention. I have attached the VW file I am using. The seats are currently (according to the measurements from the architect, are fairly accurate in terms of height/slope. Here is a google photo link that has a panoramic image of the room. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipP5PUCniktitep2XmnKuF7yoJ7fvkt4oigf_H5jB0kci_66AE3SDMj-F1exvj7MUA/photo/AF1QipNtfFJRVLzLdgWr4nG9IH64bzvBeqteZhIRIWVz?key=LTEzaWRQNlBvZEYxNmFaNUFnQkxoYjBYb250dl9B Hopefully that link gives you peeps who have been following this thread a bit more of a sense of what kind of slope I am working with. If you open the VW file, there are 2 design layers called floor 1 and floor 2, as I played with different ways of attempting to make the floor, mentally it was just easier to separate each concept/idea on a layer basis. For those asking, I am using Spotlight. CPVenue_Carmel.vwx
  2. I have a client that would like me to add their sloped floor into the drawing. I have attached an image of top view. I cant for the life of me figure out the best route for this. All the chairs are already added with the heights (I manually added each chair one by one). As you can see, my latest option was drawing the slope then I extruded it. However the floor curves, that is where I am stuck. Would love any ideas or suggestions.
  3. Hello. How do I use this VWX file and method on mine? My trusses are at a 45 degree angle though.
  4. Hi, thanks for the response. I did that and that is how I noticed that for some reason even though the trusses will auto connect, when I do the change of trim height in the truss objects properties, the whole system does not stay together
  5. I have 3 sticks of truss connected together, using the magnetic feature, they attached together. I added fixtures to it. Hoists are also connected. if I go to a hoist to change trim of it, it will only move the stick of truss directly under it. I figured a quick fix would be to delete the hoists, select the other 2 pieces of truss and move them away and then one by one, connecting them again via the red magnetic line to attach to the truss, then once again adding hoists. Doing that did not seem to fix the issue where changing hoist trim does not keep the entire system together. Any ideas what it could be?
  6. I have truss angled at 45 degree with 4ft pipes I want to add swivel clamps to in order to attach to the truss. I am trying to use the insert truss connection tool and I cannot get it to work. what is the best way to do this?
  7. Anyone here have a PC VW stream deck profile willing to share? Only see a bunch of Mac ones
  8. Looking to buy VW spotlight 18 or 19, heck I'll even take 17.
