  1. ok - bit thick and new to all this - what "registry" and where is it?!
  2. What's going on? After half an hour or so of running well, changing line colours in the attribute box is causing a "runtime" error, and VW quits. Version 9.5.1. Please help!
  3. Help! VW10.5.1 keeps quitting with the message: "A Vectorworks dongle has been found but it does not match the one specified by your serial number. Vectorworks will now quit" I only have 1 VW package, never swapped dongles with anyone, checked serial number in application (when it does let me in), swapped dongle USB ports, etc, etc..... The only changes I have recently made is switching to Windows XP Professional (re-formatted hardrive, re-installed software, etc), and getting broadband to make life easier(!) - but internet connection is not live when VW is quitting. Please help. Tim [ 06-15-2004, 04:48 AM: Message edited by: techsupport ]
  4. Hello. Having edited a V9.5.1 dwg at home in V10.5.1, I cannot open the new version at work in V9.5.1 - help! [ 03-05-2004, 04:24 AM: Message edited by: techsupport ]
  5. Hi. No knocking the dongle has occurred to the best of our knowledge. The demo mode appears unrelated to the drive sleeping, as sometimes Vecotorworks will go straight to demo mode when the desktop icon is double-clicked after start-up. Other times, it will occur in the middle of a command.... Any ideas...?
  6. Hello. We are currently running Vectorworks 9.5.1, with a link to Artlantis 4 (For Vectorworks) via a VW Artlantis Workspace; both software packages on a single machine. We have in the last few days experienced the Vectorworks application switching to Demo Mode with no apparent reason - we are not currently working in 3D or using the Artlantis application. It is occurring regularly, and sometimes even from a re-start without opening a drawing. The machine has a Pentium 4, 2.66GHz running Windows XP. Any thoughts / comments / help would be gratefully appreciated. Tim
