10 cavities should be enough - but would you upgrade versions just for this?

we have vectorworks architect version 11.5 which has aec to create a wall type but it is limited to 5 cavities (which you can select separately), unfortunately this is not enough. How many independent cavities can you create within version 12?

Is there an easy way of selecting cavities created in the cavity setup tool. Due to the size of the physical toolbox it is difficult to select all the cavities drawn and change their hatch or pattern etc. when trying to use the mouse cursor. Therefore can you scroll down the cavities drawn using the keyboard? as i am having trouble selecting a cavity drawn using the mouse

We are trying to use the VW Architect sampler windows and doors, but don't know what the 'styles' are and can they be edited?

When upgrading to a newer version of vectorworks (from 10.1 to 10.5) can you use the workspaces of the previous versions or is it best to create a new one for the new version

At present when you are dimensioning in vectorworks it automatically goes onto the class layer dimension by default. Is there a way to change this so it goes onto a new class created by the user ?, ie dimension-ext. walls. We currently have to dimension on the dimension layer and then change/move it to the class we require which is obviously a touch long winded. Your help would be appreciated.
