thanks for your help, but my bitmap display was at full reolution, have changed it to reduced resolution but still no joy. just to confirm the jpeg open fine when you first open vectorworks 11, but soon becomes the grey box, and the only way to see the image again is to restart the computer. help much appreciated... thanks Wizzo

I have just updated to vectorworks 11 and when I import images, the image always seems to get the grey fill. I have no idea why it does this, but assume it is to move about the drawing quicker. How do I stop/reduce this from happening? thanks Wizzo

When creating a DTM border does the extents of the border have to be within the extents of the data? (i.e. if the contour information is a strange shape and when you produce the DTM Vectorworks triangulates areas where there is no data, setting a DTM border will stop this happening, but it does not seem to work when your border is slightly outside the data)

If I have produced a DTM and want to give it a basic colour, how do I do it because when you select the DTM and tell it that the fill needs to be solid, it will not let you do it.

I convert my 2d polys to 3d polys, and when i try to create a site mole this error occurs "A miscellaneous error has occured. (20,1)". Does anyone know what this error is and how i overcome it?

I used Vectorworks about 3 years ago on a Mac and I somehow managed to create a file for Quicktime that allow you to zoom in and out, pan etc. Now I need to do the same sort of thing on the PC and I cannnot remember how to do it. Does anybody know what I am talking about? Thanks for your help. Shaun
