So I have to actually create a new symbol to change the font of the door tag. I can easily change the font of the reference markers, drawing label, etc.. Why can't I change the door tags font this easily?

I know how to change the font for plug-in objects but I cannot find the Plug-In For the ID label tool in the create plug-in dialogue box. Where can I find this plug-in?

My co-workers and I find it difficult to edit the locations of windows and doors accurately. What is the best method for moving multiple windows or doors in the same wall. VW 9.5.1

When using the circular duplicate array command is there a way to have the array fill an angle instead of designating the # of items and the angle between each item? Basically, can VW's array function like AutoCAD's? [ 12-10-2002, 02:23 PM: Message edited by: Rodger ]

Thanks for the reply. What is the easiest way to transfer these symbols to a blank file. All of the symbols are currently in the resources palette of a file.

I am a fairly new VW user and I need some advice. I need to establish a base sheet. In my base sheet would it be better for me to add my standard symbols to the drawing file or the object browser? We have 3 operators on VW and we all need access to these symbols. If I use the object browser I will need to add the symbols everytime I reboot. Can this be avoided. Any advice?

I CANNOT CHANGE THE HATCH IN WALL CAVITIES FROM THE DEFAULT HATCH. I HAVE TRIED TO ADJUST THE SCALE BUT IT WILL NOT CHANGE THE HATCH PATTERN. THE PATTERNS WORK FINE. HOW DO I ASSIGN A HATCH TO A CAVITY.

I have imported the hatches from the resources palette. Is this what you mean? If so, I still cannot select a different hatch from the pull-down in the cavity walls dialogue box. All the hatches are listed but cannot be selected. Do you know of anything else that may be wrong?Thanks

THE ONLY WAY I AM GETTING THIS TO WORK IS BY PUTTING THE DOORS ON THE WORKGROUP REFERENCE LAYER. IF I ONLY INCLUDE THE ID INFO ON THE REFERENCE LAYER THE SCHEDULE IS BLANK. IS THIS THE ONLY WAY I CAN DO THIS? I'D LIKE TO AVOID HAVING ALL OF THESE DOORS IN THE DRAWING IF I COULD. ANY IDEAS?

I HAVE CREATED A DOOR SCHEDULE IN A DRAWING AND I NEED TO TRANSFER IT TO ANOTHER DRAWING. I HAVE TRIED TO CUT AND PASTE THE SCHEDULE BUT ALL OF THE INFO IS DELETED FROM THE SCHEDULE EXCEPT THE DATABASE HEADERS. I HAVE ALSO TRIED TO IMPORT THE SCHEDULE BUT THAT CHANGES ALL OF THE FONTS AND PUTS ALL THE INFO IN DECIMAL FORM. HOW CAN I DO THIS AND STILL HAVE ALL OF THE INFO KEPT ON THE SCHEDULE.
