When using the Open GL feature the rendered model is very rough. I have the Open GL resolution set high. How do i resolve this? Also when using this command must i assign my walls and windows
colors? Currently the model is bright white. I thought that was the result of lighting but even with the lights off it still renders this way. Basically, i am not sure how to use this command and the book does not really explain how.
Robert, Yes, in 3-D views. I was not able to hide the model and make the window(3-d object from the object library) visible. However, I was able to ungroup the dormer/roof and reinsert a window using the window tool. This worked. Do you know why?
After Creating A Dormer w/ A Window From The Object Library, The Window Will Not "Hide". I Was Playing w/ The Wall Thickness Of The Dormer And Noticed That The Thinner The Wall Was, That More Of The Window Was Visible. How Do I Remedy This?
Yes, I Can Now Snap To The Underside Of The Roof;however, the two peaks on either side of the wall are not equal and I cannot adjust the right side so that the wall matches the slope of the gable.
VW 9.5 pc, I Want To Create A Seamless Peak At A Gable End. When Using The 3D Reshape Tool To Stretch A Corner Of The Wall To The Underside Of
The Roof I Cannot To Snap To An Object As Described In The Users Guide(Pg5-12). After Following The Steps In The Users Guide The Object Lines Are Not Aligned And Creates A Messy Drawing.

I have created a site model using the grid entry tool. When I create an updated version of the model, the old version is always referenced when changes in the settings/options menu are made. I have deleted the "Existing" and "Proposed" DTM's from the resources palette but the old DTM is created when I update the model.
Also, is it possible to have and object line visible in a hidden line rendering at the points where the structure intersects the terrain?
I Have Created A Site Model In A Drawing And Erased It From The Drawing And The Resources Directory. When I Create A New Model, The Old Site Model Is Still Created. How Do I Get Rid Of The Old Model And Create The New One?

If I would reshape the wall would that suspend my ability to view and easily modify windows in that wall?
I am creating a collinear wall w/ parapets at different heights. Is it possible to create this wall and view it in 3D without having construction lines between the parapets? Or can I join 2 collinear walls and view them in 3D without seeing the construction line between them? Windows are in the wall so I do not want to "add solids". I am trying to have the cleanest 3D model I can, are there any tricks to this?
Robert
The book references Plug-ins/VW_arch/Data/ID_Symbols.mcd, that file does not exist in my directory. I'm using VW 9.5.1. What path should I be using for storing these ID symbols?
