Thank you all. The polygon paint bucket tool does the trick! as i can isolate the original lines into two classes, so much easier to create polygons now.

Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help. I have a base map which consist of lines / polylines / polygons which I would like to fill each of them as individual polygon. Previously I can select multiple lines and use the Combine into Surface tool, but the latest version seems to deselect all the lines once the operation is completed. It is a pain to select a bunch of lines, do the 'CiS' command, fill one polygon and repeat for hundreds of times. Anyone know if there is an easy way to do this?
