Thank you Pat, i think i worked it out in the end, when you import a pdf you have options on how it attaches I think i had the wrong option ticked.it seems to be working well now thanks for your prompt reply

I have attached a pdf into my drawing, the the file size is not increased by the pdf size, I use the import command to attached my pdf is there another commend that attaches pdfs?

We have a small office with only 4 machines which are in a network, I have imported the pdf into my drawing and still works ok on my machine, but if another machine accesses my drawing to plot i have the same issue of the pdf not being found even though its attached and part of my drawing.

thank you, I just drag and drop the pdf into my drawing, don't know if that is reference ( like x refs i use on auto cad) because it feels like its imported as it's dropping into my key later. At the moment it seems to be working ok now. I will keep an eye on it..

Pat, yes i imported or referenced a pdf into my drawing and annotated it, all seems fine until i open the drawing the next day of on another machine on the network. .when open the drawing it tells me the pdf is not found, and asks if i want to locate it..it seems to have disconnected from my drawing. thank you Daniel

Hello, i have a issue with pdf. files detatching from my drawing every time a re-open my drawing, is this a bug or a setting ? (VW 2016 mac mini i7 late 2012). Daniel
