  1. Hello Jim, thank you for your answers. Brought more light into my inquiries... Best regards Rolf
  2. Hello Jim, thank you for your fast answer. For Rendering would the AMD Ryzen CPU be more supportive, than the Intel i7?
  3. Hello everybody, since I upgraded from VW 2017 to VW 2018 every work process takes way longer... everything became that slow, that I am willing to invest in a new PC System. At the moment I am using a Toshiba Satelilite P50T-B, CPU i7-4710@2,5GHz, 1TB SSD, 16GB Ram, AMD Radeon R9 M265X. Mainly I am using it for VW Spotlight, drawing riggingplots of sizes about 50MB to 80MB a file, mainly in 2D. Since this year I am using the braceworks module, which asks for the use of 3D symbols in drawings, so this is slowing me down even more. After my investigations of the last week, many posts regarding this issue write, that for VW 2018 it does not make the difference , using an high end CAD GPU like NVIDI Quadro P4000 to the use of an High End Gamer GPU like the NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti. As well I am looking for an answer, which CPU to use.... so far I was using always Intel products ... for the new System I am looking at an i7-7700 @4,2GHz.... Would the AMD Ryzen CPU... Support Vectorworks better? Is there any recommodations regarding Hardware Setup, so the Programm is working again smoothly like it used to do in 2016? I thank you already for your answers. Regards from Nuernberg Rolf
