apparently it is not true,

Lightworks web site states that lightworks (lwa) is imbedded in over 80 applications, amoung them is Vectorworks from Nemetscheck. Is this Lightworks misinformation or Nemetscheck's?

I have installed 10.5 today, everything seemed ok, after restart I launch 10.5 and get the following message right after my name and registered versions show up on the "blue band graphic":
Type 10 error (line 1111 trap error)
This is an attempt to execute an instruction that does not exist in the CPU?s repertoire (Unimplemented instruction error). Lack of support for the machine on which it is being run (for example, a 68020 instruction execution attempt on a 68000).
Clean install from cd since the downloaded update did not work
MAC.760 MEGS RAM
CARBON LIB 1.6
SYSTEM 9.2.1
QUICKTIME 6
Help please

I'm interested in tutorials as well. Nemetschek's documentation for 3d powerpack is meager to say the least. interested in product, display, exhibit design

Our friends at Apple have been pushing thier dual processor machines. It has been my understanding that applications need to be written for these machines in order to take full advantage of thier speed. Has Vectorworks 10.0.1. been written in such a manner?

I recall reading in the promotional literature that version 10 would include additional textures.
This is not the case. When I inquired with tech support I received a phone call, intercepted by someone else. Tech supports reply was "yes we were going to include additional textures, but decided not to"..........arrgh. This was one of the reasons I upgraded.
Are there any plans to add additonal textures, and if so, when?
What RenderWorks textures do you need?

To Sean and interested members;
a clearer explanation of Lightworks/LWA:
Dennis
Thanks for your email and for highlighting this issue.
As Dave Donley has correctly pointed out in the thread which you referred to, VectorWorks is not LWA-Enabled.
VectorWorks is mentioned on our website as one of the 80+ software applications which integrates LightWorks as its rendering engine.
I am sorry if you were confused by something you read on our website but hope that this matter is now clearer.
Thanks for your interest in LightWorks!
