Hey Kerry J, I don't really know what your question really is, but I try my best anyways. You can create a 3d polygon line and compose it. After that convert it to a nurbs curve. You should import the 2D drawing of the moulding and select both the 3D polygon line (Nurb curve) and the 2D moulding profile and extrude along path.
